MAINTAIN Compile problem RC 32071

I'm getting frequent compile failures in MAINTAIN thet indicate WebFOCUS is unable to compile and list an error of RC 32071.

I can close down WebFOCUS and restart it and that usually corrects the problem

ANy ideas on the cause of this or an easier correction then restarting WebFOCUS (version 7.1.4 Windows).

Was there any other information along with the RC 32071? We have seen this error when there are no more agents. We have also seen it when there is a syntax problem with the code. I realize this is sporatic, but if you can give me the repro steps with your code I will investigate... Mark_Derwin@ibi.com.

It is related to the other problem in some way.

It tends to occur while trying to isolate what control is causing the "field required message" - I'll remove a control and run the program to see if the problem is solved. After a few attempts (typically less than 4) I get the RC 32071. This is the full text:

Deployment Step Status: failure
Reason: Could not compile 'IBFS:/localhost/DEV/HomeInv/HIN01MTN.mnt'.
Error in 'IBFS:/localhost/DEV/HomeInv/HIN01MTN.mnt':
(WFC 32071) ERROR OCCURED, RC = 32071
