To Burst or Not to Burst. Can you do both?

I have been experimenting with Report Caster and was trying to create a distribution list that burst the report. I can get the parts of the report to go to the proper person but I can't seem to get it to send the WHOLE report to a person in the same distribution list without listing every burst value for that person.

Is there a way to specify 'ALL' or the equivalent in the burst value column on a distribution list?

I had that problem and came to conclusion you could not...and had to do a separate schedule with the report not burst. I think there was supposed to be an enhancement one day.

Solution:

In order to send all the BURST Values to one e-mail, specify each BURST Value
to the same e-mail in the Distribution List.

i sorta do it, with 2 tasks in 1 job
and the first task takes a parm that forces the report to code by REPCODE
and the second task takes a parm that forces the value of REPCODE to be 'ALL'
and in the single dist list, the value 'ALL'
goes to each of 6 managers
so i get away with 1 dist list, 1 schedule, but two tasks in the sked.
works.

Would your method to send multiple bursted files to all 6 managers work for bursting to the library? I have a report that gets burst into 200+ files but I have a group of about 8 people that need to be able to see all 200+ individual files. Ideally, I want to do this through the Report Library.

I would give the 8 people that want the 200+ reports a user id and let them get the reports instead of send the reports.
200 attachments in one mail or one mail with 200 pages is to much to handle, even for a manager.

but this will be a though ting to discuss....
