Thank you Kerry, I really appreciate your help. That was really nice of you, I was sucessful to create the Ad Hoc report with the presentation that you gave, but I have small curiosity; I am currtly running Ad Report for about 90,000 records and I am using Microsoft SQL 2008; whenever I load the Ad Hoc page it takes around 3 mins to load, is that normal or am I doing something wrong ?

when populating values into listboxes/dropdowns from fact/transactional tables then we noticed slowness in populating the ad-hoc page.
To populate the values for each dropdown/listbox a select query will be run behind to get the distinct values. It is better to use dimension tables to populate the values. Also, may be to use Input box when needed will make a difference
