Roll Eyes It took me quite some time to find the answer to this one yesterday so I thought I'd post it for anyone else who may need it in the future...... You can bet I won't forget how to do it .....

Split a single attribute = value pair across a line. If you split a single attribute = value pair across a line, you need to use the \ character at the end of the first line, as continuation syntax. If you split an attribute = value pair at a point where a space is required as a delimiter, the space must be before the \ character or be the first character on the next line. The \ character does not act as the delimiter.

EXAMPLE....
FOCEXEC=bud00029(BAVAL=N3 CEVAL=N2 \
PROJVAL='All Projects' \
YEARVAL=N1 CCVAL='All Cost Codes'),
COLUMN=N6, $
