One of my developers is a sys admin and over the weekend is mysteriouly getting reject today. I have exhausted what I know and cant seems to find anything other than the edasprof generic error.

Password expired on the LDAP/Whatever side you are using for authentication?
We use an ID that does not have a password expiration...

Tom - you are correct. It was on the iSeries reporting server. Eventhough I could not see it by displaying the profile if the user tried to sign onto the RC she was prompted to change it. In most cases we do have the BI users passwords set not to expire but for admins we try to follow a little more strict rule that just bit us!!!! thanks!
