Hi all

The architecture is WF reporting server(7.7.02) running on Win2008 server(64bit)with OPSYS mode and SQL server 2005 Analysis Services running on Win2003 server(32bit). The problem is happening at connecting to CUBE.
The Symptom is :
(FOC11254) ERROR CONNECTING TO OLAP SERVER:
(FOC11202) OLE/DB FOR OLAP INTERFACE ERROR:
(FOC11201) Initialize Error. Datasource: ww001wtwdespdbv\CRM Dashboard
(FOC11201) Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Analysis Services 2005
(FOC11201) Errors in the OLE DB provider. Could not connect to the redirector.
(FOC11201) the SQLBrowser service is running on the 'ww001wtwdespdbv' server.
(FOC11201) Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Analysis Services 2005
(FOC11201) Errors in the OLE DB provider. An error occurred while named
instance informatio
(FOC11201) n was being retrieved from the SQLBrowser service on the
'ww001wtwdespdbv' server.

Does anyone met this scenario and fixed that?

It seems that WF server uses 64bit driver to connect to SSAS, but failed; I tested the UDL with default setting, failed too; I used the command line ["C:\Windows\syswow64\rundll32.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\CommonFiles\System\OLE DB\oledb32.dll",OpenDSLFile C:\test_conn_SSAS2005_32bit.udl] to force UDL connection with 32bit driver, it works, successed.

I think the workaround is to force WF server use 32bit driver to connect datasource(the CUBE), anybody have the experience to set some environment or scirpts or wfs in WF to fix the problem.

thanks very much.
