You will notice a blank line between the SUBHEADs. Any way to get rid of it?

I just tried your code in 8201M and don't see any blank lines between subeads. What gen are you running?

In a sense, they are not blank lines, they are the NOPRINT lines.

Add : SET DROPBLNKLINE = ON


Babak, you may have the above SET in a profile which is performed by default.

This might be why by removing the border caused it to work for Babak:

    DROPBLNKLINE=HEADING is not supported with:

  • Different border styles between the heading and the column titles or the data and the footing.
  • Reports that use the ACROSS sort phrase.
