After typing MPAINT on focus prompt iam getting the error message " MPAINT do not work with fieldname=old,refer FOC 3701"

Do a ? SET and look at the value of FIELDNAME. Maintain requires that FIELDNAME=NEW be set. If the value is OLD, issue:
SET FIELDNAME=NEW and try to MPAINT again.
