We have several options for development with Dev Studio for developing procedures. I would like to have the end result in a Resource Layout that appears in the Dashboard. If I start with a procedure using the Report Painter, then add that procedure to the Resource Layout, I end up with 3 files appearing in the Standard Reports of the Dashboard. Is there a better way to develop so that only one file shows in the dashboard?

What you're doing is correct. The Resource Layout page is what you want the users to see and run. For the others, right click and uncheck "Show on Users List" under Properties.
