What's the correct / best way to Limit User Access to Pages in a Collaborative Portal?

I don't like the error messages that are displayed when security is set at the folder level, Page #, used for portals.

I do have security set to the 'Page #' in the domain. What I, we all, need it to set up security in such a way that the Portal Pages (tabs) don't even show up when the user does not have access to the associated Page. What am I missing? Or, am I asking for something that's not yet available. I did RTFM Wink

Here's my Domain Struct for this portal:
This Domain
  - Portal Pages
    - Page 1
    - Page 2
    - Page 3
    - Page 4
Next Domain

Thanking you all in advance for your insight, Doug

Doug

Excellent question in 8.1.x you could expose the pages under the Portals folder and apply security to each page but in 8.2.x it only lists the portals and does not expose the pages underneath. I think you will have to open a case to find out how to apply security to the portal pages. I will be curious to find out how you do this.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Yes, please let us know. Page level security is key to our portals.
