| Has anybody found a way to put dashed or dotted lines in a graph using API in the intervening months since this item was posted? Colored lines look great but color printers are hard to come by and in short supply so dashed, dotted, dash-dotted and other variations in WebFOCUS line graphs would be very valuable.
We have a case with IBI but any suggestions are highly appreciated.

| Kerry: Thanks for the feedback. The only question is whether additional API commands are really a new feature inasmuch as so many API commands are entered in the text editor. The Dev Studio Graph Builder is already reasonably complex and it could get too busy if all options were available. Just my thought - I really like the graphing capabilities with 5.3.3! | | Posts: 238 | Location: Atlanta, GA/Rehovot, Israel | Registered: May 06, 2003 |

| Susannah: "what about linetypes solid dotted dashed?" I know this is a very old post. But, just to ensure that this comes up in the search for the dashed lines, try these: setLineBasicStrokeType(getSeries(0),14); setLineBasicStrokeType(getSeries(1),14); setTransparentBorderColor(getSeries(0),false); Make sure that they are not i9nhibited by preceding code. -Doug
