I have an instance of WF/MRE installed on a UNIX box (5.3.3) and an instance of WF/MRE/Report Caster installed on a W2K box (5.2.6).
When I open Report Caster, I want to be able to access Standard Reports on either server. Right now I only see the Standard Reports on the W2K server. Is it possible to access both MRE environments/Standard Reports through one instance of Report Caster?
Where is this configured to make both MRE environments visible to Report Caster?
If you access the Report Caster java front end, there is a server configuration link and an MRE tab. There you enter the server and port for the WebFOCUS client. I don't beleive it allows for multiple clients. Your other problem is that you have 2 different versions of WebFOCUS. If your Report Caster is pointed to a 5.2.x WebFOCUS, then Report Caster is also probably 5.2.x. This may not work with a 5.3 client.
