It seems graph assistant is having troubles understanding field formats with floating dollar sign and commas.
In our metadata, fields exist with CM (ex P12.2CM). When plotting these fields on the Y-axis they show up as a date format. Under properties/Y axis you can only change the format to other date data types.
I checked with our graph expert on this one. She tried to test in releases 7.1.3 (which is using OLD Graph Assistant) and 7.6.0 (using New Graph Assistant) and was not able to replicate the exact issue. Her suggestion is that, please verify that when creating synonym against the datasource the field format is retained in the created master.
As always, opening a new case is always an option and that way we can examine the issue a little closer. To open a case with Information Builders' Customer Support Services, you may either call at 1-800-736-6130, or access InfoResponse. Here is a list of information to be ready when you call: http://techsupport.ibi.com/before_you_call.jsp.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Kerry
