How to squeeze/trim out white space from a sql string
Hi,

I am creating a string using dialog manager commands. My string has lot of white space
characters in it. How do I squeeze/trim out the string ? I saw this somewhere but now
not able find it.

Thx,

use the tech doc search up at the top of this page and search on the TRIM function and the SQUEEZ function. the folks really have done a nice job with that syntax search function up there. kudos, doc serv.

I had tried SQUEEZ. It was giving me a lot of gibberish characters when I
applied in dialog manager code. Now I tried again and it seems to work. May
be I was using some wrong argument. Thx.
