If you have a secure site you can use a rest call (requires a license) if your dist is unsecure you can use DSTRUN. DSTRUN is documented in the Reportcaster Manual. Rest has it's own manual

Thanks for the information. DSTRUN can be used to execute the schedule which is already been created. I need to create a schedule through Report Caster API programs.

You could definitely accomplish this if you license WebFOCUS RESTful Web Services and the REST adapter. In that way, you can perform WebFOCUS functionality, like creating a ReportCaster schedule and Security Reporting, by using a Fex.

Does anyone have an update on this? We just got the REST license and I'm looking for an example of how to set up a FEX to run multiple RC jobs using REST calls.
