[CLOSED] Is there a line number for &FOCERRNUM? No.
Isn't there a variable that contains the line number assoaicted with &FOCERRNUM? If so, and I'm sure there is, what is it (&what)?
I can't find it in Foacl Point or in the "Data Description and Reporting Users Manual" (The big twin books). I do recall (I think) that I've used it a long, long time ago...

Come on Jack, I tried that as well. But, to no avail. &FOCERRNUM doesn't even show up there... What'd I miss? What do you see when you get that...
Here's a sample of what does:
Force an error by this bogus line
-RUN
-TYPE *** FOCERRNUM is &FOCERRNUM
 *** FOCERRNUM is 1517
(FOC1517) UNRECOGNIZED COMMAND FORCE AN ERROR BY THIS BOGUS LINE
 CURRENTLY DEFINED & VARIABLES:
 ...
 &ECHO = OFF
 &EXITRC = 0
 &FOCEXURL = /ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIF_webapp=/ibi_apps&IBIC_server=EDASERV
 &FOCFEXNAME = variables.fex
 &FOCFOCEXEC = _variables.fex
 &FOCGRAPHCNT = 0
 &FOCHTMLURL = /ibi_html
 &FOCINCLUDE = variables.fex
 &FOCNEXTPAGE = 0
 &FOCREL = R720764B
...
Any other ideas...
BTW: This is on my Dev box

You don't get the error line number in a Dialogue Manager variable. As far as know it is not possible to trap the error line number, just the error code in &FOCERRNUM.

I guess I was mistaken... However, I do think that I used some DM Variable that contained the line number of the error.

I guess there isn't one.

Who else, besides me, thinks there should be one?

Doug, I think you're the only one!

Big Grin

Just kidding, it would be quite practical.
