Is it possible to create Venn diagrams in WebFOCUS?

I looked at the options in the Advanced Graph assistant and it doesn't appear to be there.

If not, I'll probably have to take a look at https://github.com/benfred/venn.js/tree/master

Background: The report I'm working on enables users to search for parts that match certain criteria; a Venn diagrams would be great to visualize which (or rather, how many) of those parts match several of the users' criteria. A drilldown from there could give them the parts that match multiple criteria.

hi Wep,

Same requests here...

...but we convinced the end-user to just look at a table

col1 match col2
200 40 200

( I think google-graph as venn-diagram solutions )

update: Found it at google... ...under "depricated"...

G'luck

Deprecated? Oh dear.
That helped me find it though, so thanks.

It looks like the Venn charts are in a deprecated API (Google Image Charts) and not implemented (yet) in Google Visualizatons.

I stumbled upon this article though, which seeks to find a more meaningful visualization of how different sets intersect: http://www.americanscientist.o...vennerable-challenge

They're quite clear about why we shouldn't use Venn diagrams. They also offer several alternative solutions.
I have yet to attempt implementing any of this; especially the (intertwined!) tree layout looks like it will be another challenge.

Why a Graph?
Why not an Image?

How would an image accurately describe the intersection of several (n ≥ 2) result sets of parametrised data?
