We are running against oracle, If I run the query against oracle in a tool outside of webfocus it runs in 2.5 minutes returns 89,000 rows. I'm using sql passthrough, if I load the data out to a hold file it's done in 2.5 minutes, when I try to output it to EXL07 it runs for more than 1 hour and I kill it.
here is the code after the sqlout TABLE FILE SQLOUT PRINT MFG_HOURS BY PLANT_C NOPRINT BY DEPARTMENT_X NOPRINT BY PART_X NOPRINT BY WORKORDER_X AS 'Workorder ' BY OPERATION_SEQ_N AS 'CURR' BY OPERATION_DESCR_X AS 'OPER' BY DUE_D AS 'SHIP DTE' ACROSS WEEK_DUE
ON PLANT_C PAGE-BREAK
ON DEPARTMENT_X PAGE-BREAK HEADING " XXXXX YYYYYYYY I N C. <+0>DATEMDYY " " SCHEDULED STANDARD HOURS (ACCOUNTING STDS)" " FOR DEPT ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL07 ON TABLE SET STYLE * $ TYPE=REPORT, FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=8, STYLE=NORMAL, $ ENDSTYLE END

That is part of the title the rest of the code is ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL07 ON TABLE SET STYLE * $ TYPE=REPORT, FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=8, STYLE=NORMAL, $ ENDSTYLE END
It's not excel because I have other reports that use excel with no problems.
