We are planning to upgrade our existing webfocus installation from 716 to 764. We are creating tabular reports only. We would like to know whether we need to do any changes to the existing fex files.
Please let us know if there is any document available for this.

IBI offers 'upgrade considerations' manuals. In addition, there are Summary of New Features manuals. I would suggest you click the documentation link on the upper right corner of this page and search for manuals of these types.
It would be hard for us to tell you what you had to change as we wouldn't know the makeup of your focexecs. However, if you go through these manuals with that knowledge, it would give you an idea of where you might have problems.
In addition, there is code tightening in each release that is not necessarily documented and you find that out by testing. The functions AYM and AYMD requiring legacy date formats comes to mind.
You can also search this forum for 'upgrade' and there have been many posts on this topic.
We have different reports in our installation. We migrate from 7.6.1 To 7.6.2 to 7.6.4 to 7.6.5 . As far as i know we did not encounter any major problems. And As GinnyJakes suggested you can have a look to what are the new features to see if you will be impacted.
Regards.
