Hi,
I have a requirement as mentioned below.

I have a launch page from which i pass multiple country names to a report. I need to save the report with country name, for each country seperately in a destination folder.

Can you please suggest me a solution.

Thanks
Bhavna

The smartest and maybe the easiest is to use Report Caster, to Burst and ftp the reports. Using a distribution list to set the name for the file(s). The distribution list can be dynamic also.

What you're asking about is pretty basic FOCUS stuff.

SET HOLDFORMAT=ALPHA
-RUN

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS H001
END
-RUN

-READ H001 NOCLOSE &COUNTRY.A10.

-REPEAT ENDREP1 WHILE &IORETURN EQ 0

-SET &FILE1= 'D:\ibi\_backup\temp\' || STRIP(10, '&COUNTRY.EVAL', ' ', 'A10')|| '.HTM';

FILEDEF REP1 CLEAR
FILEDEF REP1 DISK &FILE1
-RUN

-TYPE *** &COUNTRY ***

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SALES
BY CAR
WHERE COUNTRY EQ '&COUNTRY'
ON TABLE HOLD AS REP1 FORMAT HTML
END
-RUN

-READ H001 NOCLOSE &COUNTRY.A10.

-ENDREP1
