I have a public view page, it has two columns -- a report list block on the left, and an report output block on the right. When user clicks a report on the left, the report will show up in the right column.
The problem is when the user launch the page for the first time, there is nothing in the report output block, and that doesn't look good, also not friendly to the first-time user. I wonder if I could put an initial message on the output block, such as "Please select a report from the left column".
Could anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks in advance! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Why not just insert a graphic in the frame with a nice picture, or instructions, or just "Have a nice day "
Or you could make the frame invisble. The reports will still show up when they get populated I think. I use invisible frames and make sub-menus and parameter lists how up that way.
