I am using the Maintain process to create a UI to update a MySQL table. When I create a Deployment scenario with the wizard and try to Run it, I get the following error when it executes.

(FOC1677) UNDECLARED SERVER "SERVERNAME" REFERENCED FOR SQLMYSQL INTERFACE

The "SERVERNAME" above is the "Connection Name" of my MySQL JDBC data adapter. Is there a particular naming format that I am supposed to use for the data adapter in order for it to recognize my server?

I am pretty sure this is not a Maintain error. Can you Table the database?

Please makae sure that the CONNECTION = and / or SERVER = in the .acx file matches the case of the MySQL
table name; it is case sensitive.

I changed the case of the MySQL table on the database to lower case since the .acx file will always be lower case when I create the Synonym. However, I am still getting the same error. Any other thoughts? Do I need to include the node and/or database in the "Connection Name" for my MySQL JDBC data adapter?

This is all that I could find.

2) When a FOC1677 is received, check the following:

a) AFD for the synonym in question, it will have a CONNECTION= keyword which
should reference the database server name.

b) The corresponding declaration for the server will be in the
edasprof.prf file of the reporting server: SET CONNECTION_ATTRIBUTES...

NOTE: Ensure that the entries match identically, case, spelling, etc.

Thank you very much. Our server declaration was different than what I would have expected. I am now up and running.
