Rather than coding the name within the fex manually I'd like it to look at the name of the fex that is running. Maybe it's something like:
-SET &FILENAME = FEXNAME
???
Hope this makes sense. If it can be done it would be very helpful as the code could be used in many of my reports and would be a true representation of which report produced the output.
Many thanks, Jamie

Most of these appear to relate to today's date and I couldn't see any mention of &FOCFOCEXEC or anything similar.
However, I tried using the &FOCFOCEXEC as the output filename in a fex and it worked! Hurrah!
Thank you very much for your help.
One more question, I appear to be using Focus version 7.1.1, (According to the sysout) but how do I find out what other useful information to include in my signature? I am using Focus through Personal Communication so it's not WebFocus, just mainframe.
Many thanks, Jamie

For your signature I would (haven't we been here before?) just put "MF FOCUS 7.1.1". I think we established that you were possibly on Z/OS but I can't remember.
