It seems to me in 2012 to have no calendar controls for filtering on date columns through InfoAssist is a very present absence in WF. MicroStrategy, QlikView and other competing BI platforms have it and my IA users are very vocal in their request to have one delivered. (We of course over calendar controls in the customer BI aspects of our ERP that we are extending with WF.)
I have officially put in an NFR (Case 81852516). If you have a similar case, please let me know. If also feel this is worth getting behind, please help raise awareness of my case.
Thanks.

That's quite a large oversight. It will cause issues for our customers as well.
In a similar vein, we have the need to use a tree control that loads sub-branches dynamically (ajax) as we can't load 60k locations for a customer to a web page.
We converted a custom control over to WF8 that can be used in HTML forms but are concerned that we won't be able to modify IA to use it.
Do you know if there's a way to modify IA's behavior in rendering auto-prompts?
Thanks!

I know of no way to modify IA's behavior in rendering auto-prompts. It would seem a great leap forward if IA would present a progammatically extensible model, for instance if DLLs could be put in place that implemented a specific interface to get any customer behavior working...
Well, I'd be happy just to see some calendar controls.
