The short answer is yes, you can do this. In my previous life we used jcl to trigger our Iway ETL. There@ are reportcaster api's in the help file. I would start looking there. I know for me, whenever I wanted to run a reportcaster job, I would just update the next runtime in the reportcaster table to a date time in the past, then when reportcaster runs it's process to see what it needs to run, it would pick up the schedule and run it.

WebFOCUS PDS version is currently intalled on the mainframe.I am trying to see if there is a way that I can trigger WebFOCUS pds version of reportcaster by adding the dataset in the JCL executiable.
