i make a drill-down in webfocus using exl2k format in a browser. it works quite ok.. but when i go back one step using the browser button (ie6.0) i get a message that the file ibiweb.exe is allready open and cant be opened the same time with the same name...
is there a possibility to go back without getting this message. users may not understand what to do ;-)
It is an browser/software issue in the sense excel is not web/html page, you will find the same issue with pdf. The standard solution is to provide a back link in your exl2k. Basically each drill down will be having a back link.
You can also include the link to go back to the top level. Our users really appreciated this.
i also have the same drilldown with pdf, and with this format it works.. i can go back and forward as i like without problems!!! no message, no error!! maybe there is another solution for the excel2000 format?
