[SOLVED]Successfully APPEND using DEFINE, not by COMPUTE

Hi All,

I'm able to successfully append my fields declared using DEFINE, not using COMPUTE. Apologize me, if its a basic one, beginner in Development.
Please find my below code and notify me what i've done wrong.

Using COMPUTE followed by PRINT - Not appending as expected

 FILEDEF TEST DISK TEST.FTM 
-RUN

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT 
COMPUTE FLD/A100 = CAR;
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS TEST
END

FILEDEF TEST DISK TEST.FTM (APPEND 
-RUN

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT 
COMPUTE FLD/A100 = MODEL;
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS TEST
END

-*Not appended as expected

TABLE FILE TEST
PRINT FLD
BY COUNTRY
END

Using DEFINE - Working fine as expected

I think you may need to use the setting SET HOLDLIST = PRINTONLY

My guess is that the HOLD file TEST has the field CAR in it.

You can check this by adding ? HOLD TEST after the first TABLE FILE.
