This is the first time I got this message:
An error has been detected during server to client data transfer.
ERROR: -12: Pcb2.: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

This happens quite frequently either at procedure run or performing a drill down. Refreshing the browser seems to clear it.

Is this a common problem?

Sometimes it means you are trying to bring back too much data. Is that a possibility?

No. The data source isn't any larger than any other data source I use.

There might be a issue in your code. Check your code.

Try to find where exactly you are getting this error. To debug the code, put Exit after table one by one and run the report.

Does this happen every time ?

This error is for a failure in returning data from the call to WebFOCUS, you may have to check for errors in the server log, you may have to turn on tracing as well.
