First, I would like to thank everyone in this forum - I have learned so much from all of you.
My question or problem is - I have a report I wrote that is using the "MORE" function. But it seems if I schedule the report through the library to archive it fails - "function unknown"- which I'm assuming is the MORE function. The report runs fine live. Has anyone run into this? If so do you know of a workaround.
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I am using 7.1 also - I'm using report caster to store the results in the library. It definately having issues with the MORE function. Any suggestions??
In an earlier version (4.3x?), I don't quite recall which, MORE did not work in Report Caster if the final table request (the one Caster distributes) was the request that contained the MORE. In that case, I had to hold the output and retable it.
I have several applications running each day or month that uses the code MORE several times. All put the result in a temp HOLD file and the final report is created from that HOLD file. So that should be tehe solution as suggested by N.Selph
