When using ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K FORMULA in a report that also uses FML, the message FOC3273 is generated:
(FOC3273) EXL2K: FORMULAS WILL NOT BE GENERATED WITH OVER OR FOR
This seems like a warning message and the report does get created but for some reason is not displayed in the web browser window.
I am aware that EXL2K FORMULA is not supported with FML, but shouldn't the behaviour be that WebFOCUS simply ignores the FORMULA and still display the report?
The reason why I have coded ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K FORMULA is that the line of code is generated inside an INCLUDE, for reports with FML or without FML. The INCLUDE cannot be aware if the program it's included in is using FML or not.
I feel this is a bug, because the report seems to get created, just not displayed.
say Francis, could you do this maybe... ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K &FORMULA where the host program sets &FORMULA to either ' ' or 'FORMULA' before running the -INCLUDE ??
