How to use a "Packed EBCDIC" data file as data source in webfocus?

We use it all the time, the MFD has to be formated for 'P'. Our data is in DB2 tables. We access from Windows Server and a Linux Server. So since your question is so generic, what do you need to know. We had one source though where we had used some mainframe FOCUS functions to extract packed from a DB2 column that had several occurances. Unfortunatly we could not use the routine in our WebFOCUS world as it was translated to ascii prior to using the routines. Had to come up with another way. to extract the data.
