Does anyone else have issues with getting excel reports from deferred jobs on WF 765?
If I run the report with deferred job for output type excel and pdf, PDF gives me the full report. When I try to view the excel report, sometimes I get 335 rows of record, sometimes I get 400+ rows of record and once in a while I get 1000+ rows of record(this is the full report expected).
I think there is a communication or redirection error from the user to the WF server machine. From my understanding, when you run the job deferred, a ****.ora file is created under C:\ibi\srv76\wfs\dfm_dir, which is unusable other than by WF.
Any help/suggestions is appreciated.

I don't know if this will help you but in 765 the suffix of the re-directed excel file is now .htm and not .xht. We had an application error out because of that. However, our browser-based apps are running just fine with no modifications.
Hey Sayed, Please post what you find out out about this. We have the same problem with large reports on 714 with Excel output. We found that the when the user gets the prompt to open or save the file, if they let it sit to long, it starts losing records. We just instructed our users to click an option as soon as it comes up or give us more criteria to limit down the report. That fixed the issue for most of our users.
The case Sayed mentioned dealt with the Jakarta plug in, the thing used in communication between IIS and ApacheTomcat application server. It needed to be upgraded to the correct level for the newer tomcat installation. To do this, you'd best uninstall Tomcat and webfocus client, clear all concerned directories and reinstall.
