I am using SQL Passthru to retrieve data from a SQL 2000 database. The date field being retrieved is in the HYYMDs format and needs to be reformated to YYMD. When the field is not formated and is part of the XML output, all though it is to long, it appears as it should in the output file. When I reformat the date useing HDATE and put the variable field to the XML in stead of the original field, the date appears twice in the same line:
<td colnum="c7" rawvalue="20070731">20070731</td>
This is the relevant reformat and output code:
DEFINE FILE SQLOUT
DATEFRMT/YYMD=HDATE(insurancelapsedate, 'YYMD');
END
TABLE FILE SQLOUT
PRINT
TRADINGASNAME
ADDRESS1
ADDRESS2
CITY
STATE
ZIPCODE
DATEFRMT
insurancetype
BY NAME
I can't fifure out why the date is appearing twice in the XML output.
Other than this, this works as desired and produces the correct output.
Any insight/suggestions will be greatly appriciated.
Regards.
