Graph Y axis label
Hi ,

my report has 3 bar graphs to be displayed side by side.
the graphs are in HTMTABLE format and i have used a HTMLFORM to place the graph side by side
td width="30%">IBI.FIL.GRAPH1;</td>

td width="30%">IBI.FIL.GRAPH2;</td>

td width="30%">IBI.FIL.GRAPH;</td>

but this trucated the Y-axis label of all the graphs. I have set the labeldisplay(on) for all the graphs.
Again if i set the width as 50% i get back the Y axis label but there is a big gap between the Y axis and the label.

Any suggestions on how do i bring the Y axis and label closer and still be able to have 3 grphs next to each other.

Thank in advance.

Ranjana,

You'll notice that Tom stated "such as these", infering that, although the commands he gave were not for the exact question, there are API commands that will do what you want to achieve.

If you searched the Forum you will find many references to the API manual. Locate one, download the manual and keep it within arms reach!! Like many other reference manuals, it will form the central resource whilst you are learning the Graphing API code!

When you search the Forum you will also find many references to graph sizing as well. Look through these links and you will find many answers to your question that have been given.

Happy searching

Hi Rangana,
we have API commands for Y1title and Y1Label.
its something like:-
setRect(Y1TITEL(), new Rectangle(-15500,-16900,32000,32000));
what i can suggest is, create a test graph using car or some other file through graph assistance tool. then you have one option in that which says edit. there you can adjust various components using the UI.
then go to the code and you will get your API in that.
PS: when u do this option, wf will generate some internal code so searching can be little tough.
