Using the Advanced graphing tool a built a pie chart. It plots codes and there values by Fiscal year. We report 2 years so 2 charts are rendered. They sit side by side.
The user selects a dept and the charts render themselves. Different departments have differing codes and some codes might be in one fiscal year and not the other.
Is there a way to tell focus to reneder the SAME color for codes common to each fiscal year...ie on each pie, the colors for a given code are the same.
Ex: The user looks at the Fy13 pie and sees that code: 1111 (blue slice) comprised about 45% of the pie. They look at Fy14 and assume the blue slice is still code: 1111 comprising 15% of the pie but in fact focus has assigned the color blue to: 2222.This message has been edited. Not sure if this works for PIE chart. For bar chart it works. Instead of using APIs to assign color, try with conditional formatting using WF Stylesheet commands. TYPE=DATA, COLUMN=SALES_PCT, COLOR=RED, WHEN=COUNTRY EQ 'ENGLAND', $
