Out of curiosity can you have a multiple drilldown link on a multiple drilldown link?
ie. Clicking on a multiple drilldown link of a 'Country' will bring up another multiple drilldown of their 'Car Manufactures'. The 'Car Manufactures' link will bring up another multiple drilldown of their 'Car Models'.
Not drilldown to a report then drilldown into another report. I mean having a multiple drilldown spawn off another multiple drilldown. Such as how sub-menus and can sub-menus.
I don't think you can do it with WebFOCUS. The multiple drilldown is done in the stylesheet on a particular column. How do you envision coding the next multiple drilldown on the particular drilldown of the main drilldown?
You could probably do this if you make the stylesheet drilldown a JavaScript function.
The multiple choice drill down is itself a javascript function. What you can do is have a continued mcdd from the first. So if the user clicks on a Country and picks Makers...the fex reruns only for Makers within the selected country. Now the mcdd on Maker provides the list of Models from which to choose. All this can be done in one fex, with a wicked style sheet, but for clarity you might want to do it in 3 separate ones, till you get the hang of it.
