I want to page break on a sort field using Excel format. When I say ON sortfield PAGE-BREAK and then ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT EXL2K, it doesn't work. My Excel file gets created, but it doesn't page break on the sort field. Any ideas?
Thanks, Jen

Jen, i've never seen any formatting work in pchold exl2k, and page-break would be an example of excel-specific formatting, but here's an off-the-wall idea you might like. how about saving it as a pivot table with your page-break variable as a pagefield. TABLE FILE CAR PRINT .. stuff.. BY COUNTRY ON TABLE PCHOLD AS something FORMAT EXL2K PIVOT PAGEFIELDS COUNTRY END then your output can display each COUNTRY set of your data as individually-filled tables; easy to print whichever country your user wants.
