I would like have pop-up in a PDF file for some fields (to explain how the field is calculated). We have no problem to do it in HTML but we can't find a solution for PDF.

not sure there's such a thing as a PDF pop-up. If so, I've never heard of it.
You could achieve the same effect using some HTML (which is itself the 'popup') and a redirection to the PDF.

You could also get creative by using the same approach to make a framed HTML page where the left pane is a definitions page and the right frame is the PDF contents. Same approach, different implementation.
