Your best bet would be to look at the API functionality of Webfocus, although I am not sure if PHP would be able to make calls to it I know languages such as Java, C#, C++ web applications can. I have been looking into the API for several options that I need in Report Caster that are not yet implemented. There is a API reference manual in the techdoc's. I know that in my organization, PHP is forbidden and the only development options are Dot Net and Java. I would suspect you would see similar situations for a good number of us here on the forums, although do not quote me on that.
