Hi Guys,

I have a dynamically built fex that has suddenly stopped working. From what I can see it appears that a FOC_NONE where clause is acting strangely.

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SEATS
BY COUNTRY
WHERE (COUNTRY EQ 'ENGLAND');
END

Returns 1 record

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SEATS
BY COUNTRY
WHERE (COUNTRY EQ 'FOC_NONE');
END

Returns no records as expected.

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SEATS
BY COUNTRY
WHERE (COUNTRY EQ FOC_NONE);
END

Is expected to return 5 records (ie where clause is ignored) however instead it returns the following error:

0 ERROR AT OR NEAR LINE 6 IN PROCEDURE ADHOCRQ FOCEXEC *
(FOC258) FIELDNAME OR COMPUTATIONAL ELEMENT NOT RECOGNIZED: FOC_NONE
BYPASSING TO END OF COMMAND
(FOC009) INCOMPLETE REQUEST STATEMENT

Has anyone had any experience with this or know why this issue may suddenly occur?

Thanks
Cubesmith

My bad.

-SET &FOO=FOC_NONE;
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SEATS
BY COUNTRY
WHERE (COUNTRY EQ &FOO);
END

Return 5 records correctly.
