Vertical align BY fields in excel

Is there any way to get a BY field to be vertically aligned to the TOP of cell in Excel.

I have a BY and a PRINT. The PRINT may be more than one line. When the report comes out in Excel, the BY field is aligned to the bottom of the cell (which is the bottom of the PRINT).

Any ideas?

As far as I know it's an excel problem and that might be solved with some default settings.
You better can search on the Microsoft forum for this.

By default alignment in excel is bottom, what this means is when row B wraps row A appears misaligned.

The only way to handle this in WebFocus is to use a template to format the columns.

Just to make sure I understand correctly - you're saying to save a .mht on the server with the macro you provided as part of the .mht and then run the report using that .mht?

That's correct.

Remember though the template must be created in a version of Excel LESS than 2007.

... with at least two work sheets, each containing data in at least one cell (even a space!).

Because that's one of the rules for creating an excel template for use by WebFOCUS.
