Is there a way to set "Show Line Numbers" to ON (Checked) while in the Text Editor?

I'm not sure (imho) 1) Why anyone would not want the default as OFF / Unchecked, and 2) Why it's not the default.

PS: I do like the new "Goto Line" function .

The check box seems to reopen with the setting you left the last time. I had my line numbers checked and it always opens with it on.

That's interesting... I just opened a third fex after having the checkbox checked on the first two fexes and the third fex opened with it unchecked.

I'm using AS 8201 GEN 05042017. Is that what you have?

I'm using the default WebFOCUS Editor. I need to use this as I'm consulting for a client who is new to IBI and WebFOCUS. So, I don't want to add any nonstandard stuff to their mix.
