Just to get you started, read the chapter in the Developing Reporting Applications manual on Dialogue Manager, chapter 5 in the 7.6 manual set.
Next run some of the New Century Corp demo programs and then take a look at the code. Pay particualr attention to those that have a number of drop down boxes available to allow you to customize the report. You can find this demo at http://your_web_server/ibi_apps/homepage.jsp
in the lower righthand corner.
Lastly, please update your profile signature with your products, releases, and platforms so that we know what you are running and can better help you. I assumed 7.6 but that may not be correct.
