I created EXCEL spreadshhet in FOCUS maiframe environment. I used FTP to send this file and all was well. When I use SMTP and send this file as an attachement I get garbage. Anybody done this before? Please help,This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Unfortunately, I am working on UNIX, and have not done this on MF.
On Unix we UUENCODE the file and attach it, you could also encode it as Base 64, this is a bit more complex, as you need to create boundaries in the email.
