Excel PIVOT Functionality on HTML Page
Hi all,

Is it possible to have an Excel PIVOT table functionality on a HTML page using webfocus?

WebFOCUS OLAP report can be used, but user does not want that.

Is there any method other than OLAP to do this? Please let me know.

Thanks

You were doing so well with the find facility that I am surprised you haven't also used the technical documentation library as well.

Click on the link in the top right of this page and search on "EXL2K pivot table" and you then find links like this one which should help you in your quest.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for reply. My requirement is, I want to have the PIVOT functionality on a HTML page.

What I mean is that, When you say "EXL2K PIVOT", webfocus directly open an excel sheet and show the data in pivot table.

I don’t want this to happen; instead the data should be showed on the webpage with PIVOT functionality.

Thanks

Have you considered OLAP reporting within an HTML page as an alternative. It's as close as you will get without coding yourself using .net or something of the ilk?

Yes Tony.

But user does not want to use WebFOCUS OLAP. So I have used “AHTML” format which has all the functionality of EXCEL PIVOT. But AHTML is on HTML page. This is look like OLAP and EXCEL PIVOT, but this is only possible with WebFOCUS 7.1.3 version.
