In WF7, we are able to set up the default view for a user so that when they log in, they go directly to that view. In WF8, I cannot seem to find the correct setting to make this happen. I've checked in the bid-config.xml file and the internal-var "goToPersonalViewOnLogin" is set to true.
These are migrated views from 7.7.03. Is there something else I'm missing?

While we wait to see if another customer can help with this issue, please keep us posted on the final solution from your case. Thank you in advance for sharing with all.
I was not able to directly use the migrated dashboard, but I created a portal with pages that used the same html pages that the dashboard used. When you have a functional portal, the url can be given to the users as the new link to web focus 8.0.
So far, it looks like we'll have to do what Wbackstrom did. I'm going to create a "welcome" portal that will display my migrated dashboards, depending on user security. When a user logs in, they will be taken straight to the Welcome Portal which should have the dashboard(s) that they have access to view.
I could just send the direct links to the migrated dashboards to my users, but that can quickly become a nightmare if they don't favorite the link.
