We have a report writer application that we recently upgraded from 7.6.10 to 7.7.2. Users set up reports and can ouput to various options.
The code sets the value to EXL2K FORMULA for output to Excel, but when the file comes up it says it is a XMH file. It opens in Excel and I can save it as xls, but can I change this in some way so it shows up as an xls file and doesn't confuse users?
Thanks for any help, I'm still somewhat new to this...This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

WebFOCUS internally generates XHTML/XMH files which it finally renders as an XLS file using the MIME type setting.
To change the behaviour you have to alter the file type before it is saved to the temp directory. This can be done using a macro. There are some posts in the forum on this topic.
thanks Sashanka
