Current ver. of WebFocus is 5.3. On free form report, when "ONLINE-FMT=PDF", one report is displayed. When "ONLINE-FMT=HTML or DOC", the report is displayed twice. Any ideas as to why this happens?? Any help is appreciated.

I think Kevin means the data is displayed in the headings of the report with text and spot markers is called a Freeform report.

Whereas tabular and matrix reports present data in columns and rows, free-form report allows a customized layout of data by utilizing spot markers. Thanks dhagen

I think you have a painful road ahead of you. There are many things that WebFocus does well, but free-form reporting is not one of them. I'm sure it can be done, but with extreme difficulty.

If you don't mind a fixed pitch font, you can use spot markers, IN column, etc. commands, just like you had in FOCUS. You just can't use STYLESHEETs.

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT CAR IN 50
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET STYLEMODE FIXED
ON TABLE SET STYLESHEET OFF
END

kevin, i suspect that what you're experiencing has nothing to do with free-form; could you post a simplified version of your fex so we can see how the output delivery is presented?
