I am creating a launch page that is to pass two dates to the fex and be resolved in WHERE ( EVTDT GE &SDATE ) AND ( EVTDT LE &EDATE );, etc.

The problem is when I paint a launch page these date inputs show up as combobox elements.
When I try to adjust them in parameters I can only change them to unassigned.

How do I change them in properties/parameters to become text elements so I can add the javascipt pop up calendars?
