COUNTRY BODYTYPE SEATS DEALER_COST RETAIL_COST SALES
ENGLAND CONVERTIBLE 2 7,427 8,878 0
ENGLAND SEDAN 5 11,194 13,491 12000
ENGLAND SEDAN 4 14,940 17,850 0
ENGLAND HARDTOP 2 4,292 5,100 0
JAPAN SEDAN 4 2,626 3,139 43000
JAPAN SEDAN 4 2,886 3,339 35030
ITALY SEDAN 4 4,915 5,925 4800
ITALY COUPE 2 5,660 6,820 12400
ITALY ROADSTER 2 5,660 6,820 13000
Using your output example for "England", I understand that you want to have "CAR:England" appear over the TITLES. This can only be done if you put "CAR:England" in the HEADING but then you will have to use PAGE-BREAK on COUNTRY. Is that what you want? Leaving our styling:
TABLE FILE CAR
HEADING
"CAR:<COUNTRY "
PRINT BODYTYPE SEATS DEALER_COST RETAIL_COST SALES
BY COUNTRY NOPRINT
ON COUNTRY PAGE-BREAK
FOOTING
"Country:<COUNTRY "
ON TABLE SET PAGE OFF
END
However, if you do not want a PAGE-BREAK, then you can use the following:
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
BODYTYPE AS ''
SEATS AS ''
DEALER_COST AS ''
RETAIL_COST AS ''
SALES AS ''
BY COUNTRY NOPRINT
ON COUNTRY SUBHEAD
"CAR:<COUNTRY "
"BODYTYPE<+0>SEATS<+0>DEALER_COST<+0>RETAIL_COST<+0>SALES"
ON COUNTRY SUBFOOT
"Country:<COUNTRY "
ON TABLE SET PAGE OFF
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
INCLUDE=ENDEFLT,
$
TYPE=SUBHEAD, HEADALIGN=BODY, $
TYPE=SUBHEAD, ITEM=2, JUSTIFY=RIGHT, border-top=heavy, $
ENDSTYLE
END
Notice the use of null TITLES. Instead they are inserted in the SUBHEAD.
